It’s Time To Meet A New Kind Of Hero…
Dante Stark has a dark secret–a legacy left to him by his father which is both a blessing and a curse. A traumatic experience as a small boy gave him special powers of healing, but it comes with a price. Destined to wander the world alone to heal others, he’s accepted his fate. Until Selina Rogers forces him to confront his deepest fears, erotic desires, and question his capacity to love.

Selina Rogers has made a name for herself at Inferno Enterprises. She’s tough, confident and prepared to succeed. She’s also built a world she believes is safe, until she’s attacked and then saved by a masked stranger. As he helps her heal physically and emotionally, she becomes fascinated by his overwhelming power and gentle touch. Determined to show Dante the love he’s been denying himself, Selina surrenders her heart, and dreams of a future with the mysterious man who completes her.

But will his dark legacy destroy them…or save them both.

Michelle's Review
I have read Ms. Probst’s other books The Marriage Billionaire Series and really like her writing style.  After reading the synopsis, I was a little intrigued because this book was a different direction that Ms. Probst has taken.

Dante has a gift of sorts that he finds both a “blessing and curse”.  He is your modern day superhero.  By day he is delivering the mail and by night he is rescuing damsels in distress.  Oh and he is a hottie.

Selina Rogers is trying to become a partner at Inferno, Inc.  She is the boss everyone wants to have.  She has had a sad upbringing, but that did not deter her from getting a scholarship to college and making a name for herself at work.  She is well-respected and loved at work. Yet, until one night that would change her world.  Enter Dante to the rescue.

“Scars aren’t a weakness, Selina.  They’re signs of strength because we survived.”

Daniel is also the one person she feels most comfortable at work.  She feels the chemistry with him as she does with Dante.  Selina is so confused.  She was falling in love with two men yet she felt that somehow those two men were somewhat connected.

She gave it all to him in that instant.  Her surrender.  Her release.  Her heart.

Truthfully, I was not expecting this type of book.  I am not a fan of paranormal, but this was a different type of paranormal.  After reading Ms. Probst’s Authors Note, I understand why she wrote this book. I thought it was very sweet.  This was a quick read, but I will admit it took me awhile to connect with the book.  I loved Selina and Dante/Daniel.
