This is the story I’ve been waiting for all my life, and its name is Malcolm Kyle Preston Logan Saint. Don’t be fooled by that last name though. There’s nothing holy about the man except the hell his parties raise. The hottest entrepreneur Chicago has ever known, he’s a man’s man with too much money to spend and too many women vying for his attention.
Mysterious. Privileged. Legendary. His entire life he’s been surrounded by the press as they dig for tidbits to see if his fairytale life is for real or all mirrors and social media lies. Since he hit the scene, his secrets have been his and his alone to keep. And that’s where I come in.
Assigned to investigate Saint and reveal his elusive personality, I’m determined to make him the story that will change my career.
But I never imagined he would change my life. Bit by bit, I start to wonder if I’m the one discovering him…or if he’s uncovering me.
What happens when the man they call Saint, makes you want to sin?
Malcolm Kyle Preston Logan Saint (well that’s a mouthful), hot, sexy billionaire oh and he’s a Manwhore! Rachel Livingston is a journalist for Edge and this magazine is about to go under pretty soon so she gets an opportunity of a lifetime. To write and expose on the elusive bachelor. Rachel is well liked from her readers, she is forthright and honest in her journalism. She is up to task regarding this project. She wants to stay at Edge so Rachel does her homework like the good reporter that she is, the internet becomes her new best friend in all things Saint.
In order for Rachel to “expose” if you will, Malcolm, she schedules an interview regarding his new social media outlet, Interface. Her first meeting was brief and quite eye opening. Rachel wasn’t even able to get to most of her questions. She devices a plan for another interview, oh did I mention that Malcolm hates the press? He pretty much does, but that is because the press is so damn fascinated with his personal life. Saint (or rather Sin as she quietly calls him) does grant her yet another interview. Still Rachel cannot get enough of Saint. She knows he’s very powerful, legendary, successful, has a girl doting at him at every end. Yet, she knows there lies something good within Malcolm.
The sexual attraction between these two, holy hell, panty melting hot and as much as Rachel is trying to really not “go there” with Saint, she can’t help what her heart or lady bits really want. The interactions between Rachel and Malcolm are both sweet, sexy and heartwarming. Can the sinner really be a Saint? You really see Rachel’s turmoil and her feelings towards Malcolm. You will also see some vulnerable moments on Malcolm’s behalf.
Rachel is betrayed in the worst way. She needs to come up with a plan and not even sure if it is going to work because Malcolm learns about her betrayal. Yes, this book ends in a cliffhanger! Damn you Katy Evans! I was left wanting! I will have to admit, I was pleasantly surprised with this book. I really wasn’t a fan of the Real Series (sorry, don’t hate me). I wasn’t sure what I was expecting with the title of Manwhore, hello! Rachel did not annoy me at all. I saw her struggles regarding her feelings towards Malcolm. I really loved seeing Malcolm’s sweeter side. He is all man and he knows it and is quite arrogant about it, but you can’t hate him for it either. I had a feeling it was going to end in a cliffhanger. According to Goodreads, Manwhore +one comes out in July. I hope and pray it comes out sooner.
I will leave you with some quotes: “Rachel, there’s nothing I won’t do to get you in my bed. I’m obsessed with you.”
“His kiss makes me feel like my blood is gasoline, running through my veins. And Saint’s lips are the fire, lighting me up.”
This quote is one of my favorites, Malcolm to Rachel. He really wants a relationship and she’s fighting him: “Why do you fight me on this? I’m good at this one-night stand thing. I’m excellent at fooling around. I was made to f*ck around. If anyone can tell the difference between fucking around and the real thing, it’s me.”
