Who would have thought a month ago I’d be opening up my very own luxurious lingerie shop? Playboy billionaire Asher Young, that’s who. And with his encouragement, and deep pockets (that look very good on the seat of his tight pants), my dreams are finally coming true.

The only problem is, my silent partner has turned out to be all mouth — and lips. And tongue.
Is he for real, or is this just another one of his flirty games? With my dreams on the line, I can’t afford to get played.

But when he touches me like that, all bets are off.

Michelle's Review

So are you ready for some more Kate and Asher?  I know I was.  At the end of book 1, Lila being Lila leaves you hanging.  Kate has just entered into her dream store that Asher has acquired.  Now if only Kate stop either trying to kill Asher in her head or stop thinking about jumping his bones every five seconds, hmm let’s see how that’s going to proceed, shall we?

The sexy banter and sarcastic wit of Kate is in full force.  Watching Kate and Asher argue is like watching an intense tennis match, with words volleying back and forth and not set point in the near future.  They even argue about the type of furniture to add to the new store.  I understand Kate’s vision, especially for a high end lingerie store, she wants all the pretty and comforts of a high end store.  I can also understand Asher’s business point-of-view.  Somehow, without Kate killing Asher, they come to an agreement.

Finally, Lila Monroe gives us some hot intense sexy times!  The sexual tension in book 1 was the foreplay that Ms. Monroe loves teasing us with, but when she does add a sex scene, it’s just icing on the cake.  Just when you think things are going to be honky dory, Kate is really thrown in for a loop on the day of the opening of her store.

She’s feels betrayed, she feels like a total loser.  My heart went out for her.  Let’s just blame the situation on Asher’s “friend” Brody.  Can Kate ever forgive Asher?  Things are going well for Kate, seems bigger and better opportunities are happening, but we have to wait until book 3 to find out.

Here is my favorite quote and it’s something I would probably say to a man because they always assume if we are stressed it’s because of PMS:  “It’s stress, you condescending asshole!  Believe it or not, I can actually be upset about things when blood isn’t leaking out of my vagina!”.
