Genre: Contemporary Romance
Length: 412 pages
Rating: 4.5 stars

From USA Today Bestselling Author comes a new contemporary student/teacher romance standalone…

He’s my art professor.
I’m his student.
With an electric connection and undeniable chemistry, I know it won’t be long until one of us cracks.

When the opportunity arises to pose naked for the entire art class, I can’t help the thrill of knowing he’ll be watching me.
While they all look past me with their eyes narrowed and concentrated, drawing only the lines and angles of my body, he sees right through me down to my vulnerability.
He sees more than just the physical aspects—he sees me.
That’s when I see the struggle in his features as he tries to stay in control.

How do we keep our distance when everything seems to be pulling us together?
What feels so right can only go wrong if we keep pushing the limits.

Michelle's Review

If I know there is a student/teacher book out there, I will want to read it.  When I find out that Brooke Cumberland wrote one, I was definitely intrigued and needed to have in my reading device.

At the beginning of the Prologue, I knew I was in for the emotional ride of my life, it gutted me.  Aspen (God I loved her) is an art major, 2,000 miles away from her life and family she left behind in Chicago. Away from the bad memories that have played center stage in her nightmares from 8 years ago.  Aspen lays her emotions through her art.  She does well in school and has a wonderful part time job working at an art gallery.  Yet, you feel the turmoil and emotions that she deals with on a daily basis.

Morgan Hamilton, back in California after moving away 5 years ago.  He’s only been back for 6 months trying to raise his 11-year-old niece, Natalie.  He too is dealing with loss and when you read his POV, he shows his turmoil and emotions throughout the book.  I love when I can sense a characters emotions in a book, especially a man’s emotions.  I may have fell in love with Morgan and he’s definitely going on my BBF list.

The instant chemistry between Aspen and Morgan was scorching hot.  Morgan cannot help how intense his attraction towards Morgan.  He can see through her art all her emotions.  Aspen cannot help how attracted she’s to her professor.  But Aspen is the screw them and leave them type of girl.  Opening your heart only gives people permission to break it.  And once it breaks, it bleeds.

If you love student/teacher romances, this is the book for you.  I could go on and on, but I really don’t want to spoil it for you with my gushing words.  You will laugh and most certainly cry.  You will feel each characters emotions.  When Morgan and Aspen finally get on with the sexy times, it will be worth the weight.  Oh my lord did Morgan have a filthy mouth, but Aspen did not hold back being naughty either.  Ms. Cumberland really did a superb job with this book.
