It’s not cocky when you’ve got the goods to back it up.

Lust-maker. Pleasure giver. Fantasy creator. I can blow your mind in five seconds flat — but trust me, you’ll want this to last all night.

There’s not a woman in the city who can resist me. Except one.

Now she’s got a proposition: Seven days. Every position. No strings attached.

She wants to know what she’s been missing.

Who am I to say no?

Grace Review

Book 1 ended with a minor cliffy, as Ellie moved on to a new man.  Leaving Jax confused and a bit hurt.  Who does Ellie leave Jax for?  James, aka, The Bore, as I wanted to nickname him.  As a shy girl myself, I do not have any interest in a shy guy.  Someone needs to make the first move, right? This guy was all sorts of awkward.

I found it hiliarous how Jax offered her advice on how to win James over.  It was so obvious that Jax was trying to ruin their date, but James being James, this backfires.  Sort of.  I’m not sure how Ellie could stand him after being with Jax.  The two men are night and day, for sure, but not always in a good way.  I felt like Ellie was reverting back to old habits, just because she wanted to settle down, rather than take a chance on something fun to see where it leads.

Although I had a feeling that Jax was feeling something more about Ellie, it was amusing how hard he fell.  Time and time again he tries to get over her, going back to his old ways.  While I’m not always a fan of reading about the male with someone else, it didn’t bother me here because nothing really happened to be worried about.

While this installment doesn’t have as much heat as the first one, it delves deeper into each character’s personality and what drew them together.

Being around him always feels like orbitiing a star – you get drawn into his orbit.

Although the ending felt abrupt, I liked how Jax evolved and Ellie took a chance.  If you are looking for a fun, sexy, low angst read, this duo is just what you need.
