Book Review: Wrong by Jana Aston

Title: Wrong
Author: Jana Aston
Genre: Romantic Comedy
Length: 206 pages
Rating: 4 stars

I have a history of picking the wrong guy. Gay? Player? Momma’s boy? Check, check and check.

Now I can’t stop fantasizing about one of the customers at the coffee shop I work at between classes. It’s just a harmless crush, right? It’s not like I ever see this guy outside of the coffee shop. It’s not like I’m going to see him while attempting to get birth control at the student clinic. While wearing a paper gown. While sitting on an exam table. Because he’s the doctor. Shoot. Me.

But what if, for once, the man I’ve had the dirtiest, most scandalous fantasies about turned out to be everything but wrong?

Michelle's Review

Well first off, props to Jana Aston and her debut novel of Wrong and I will will add the cliche that some of you will probably see in other reviews, how can something be so Wrong, yet be so Right?

Sophie is a in college and a part-time Barista at the Grind Me, she has been obsessed with the hot guy in a suit for several weeks.  He comes, gets his coffee, gives her a quick smile and off to work he goes.  Sophie can only fantasize since she does have a boyfriend.  Sophie is also a virgin so the day she decides she needs to get on birth control, goes to the student clinic and who happens to be her gynecologist?  You guessed, hot suit guy from Grind Me.  Awkward much?  You would think so right?  Let’s just say that all of Sophie’s filthiest fantasy is coming true (more or less lol).

Dr. Luke Miller, Jesus H. Christ, if I had a gyno just like him, I think I would make an appointment every six months.  Luke is a little older, he just happens to volunteer at the student clinic, he’s really a fertility expert.  He’s super intrigued with Sophie. After their initial doctor/patient interaction, they bump into each other and Luke can’t help taking his eyes off of Sophie, he’s having dinner with a hot chick and Sophie dinner with her douche of a boyfriend.  Yes, things got interesting.

I am not going to give you too much information.  For this being Jana’s first novel, well she knocked it out of the ballpark. She gave me, as a reader, everything I look for: a strong heroine, hot hero (who happens to be a hot as fuck doctor), funny banter, a good plot and OMG the sexy times was seriously hot.  Oh and Jana did not make me wait too long when these two to get it on.  Dr. Luke is a filthy talker and extremely Alpha, but Ms. Sophie, she didn’t hold back once she got comfortable doing the nasty with Dr. Luke.

People I did like/not like in the book: Luke’s parents, what assholes, his sister Meredith, her husband and their daughter Bella, loved them.  Now, Sophie’s friends: Jean, she’s cool, now Everly, she was a bit cray/cray and I think she needs her own book eventually lol.  I wish I got more interaction with her grandparents.

Ms. Aston, take a bow because you did real good lady.  I can’t wait to read more.
