Grace Review

This is one of those love stories you’ll never forget.
It’s sweet.
It’s heartbreaking.
It’s uplifting.
It’s a story about making the most of every moment, and focusing on love, not hate.

The minute the author posted this book, I knew I had to read it. There was something about the synopsis that captured my attention. And my instincts were right on.

If you read my review, or hopefully any other review, you won’t learn much about the storyline. This is one of those books you should go into blind. Spoilers will not only ruin the experience, but they may lead you to make assumptions about where the story leads.

“He found you.  You taught him, through your words and actions, that life didn’t always have to be so serious.  That life was to be lived.  That life was one great adventure, to be lived well and to the fullest.”

So, what can I tell you?
I can tell you that Poppy is made a solid place on my top heroine list. Her spirit will move you. Her strength and love for her family, friends, and especially Rune, is endless.

“I won’t stop believing in a beautiful world.  I won’t let it break me.”

I can tell you that you will absolutely fall in love with Rune. Every girl deserves a boyfriend like him.
I can tell you that you will cry, unless you have a black heart. I personally haven’t cried this much since Making Faces.
I can tell you that your heart will be put through the ringer.
AND, I can tell you that the ending will leave you with a smile on your face.

“Why be miserable when you can be happy?  It’s an obvious choice to me.”

I’ve only read one other book from this author, Raze, but I have a ton of her other work on my TBR. Even with the lack of knowledge of her work, I am certain that this story is like no other that she has written. It’s the perfect young adult story, about first love. But Poppy and Rune’s story is not just childhood crushes. Their love goes so much deeper than that. Their story will give you hope and make you wish for a love as deep as theirs.

This story is simply beautiful and will stay with me forever. It goes without saying that I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this book. I also suggest that you carve out the day to read it. This book will suck you in and you’ll not want to do anything else. Give the story your full attention and fall in love with this endearing couple.

“Forever always.”
“Poppy and Rune for infinity.”
