Synopsis
Selene Cavalier spent the majority of her time behind her cello. Her dull life was made up of dark notes, hard work and sheet music.

Bennett Monterosso did what he had to do to get his family’s winery up and running. He didn’t have time for his old ways. His quiet dominance had been silenced. His need was just waiting below the surface, until now.

Having her—it was all he could think about as he watched the young woman behind the cello.

Gage Calibri left his best friend, his home, and his tarnished past five years ago. He suppressed his darker tastes, his physical appetites, and his secrets until he no longer had a choice.

It only took one night for these three lives to collide and to be altered forever.

This wasn’t what they were expecting. This wasn’t who she was. Each moment they sank deeper, each minute they felt more, each second they took her further.

Unhinged… restrained… this obsession… this love… it was all consuming.

Michelle's Review

Lillian Bryant is a new author to me and will be adding her to my over growing TBR, but she is also goes by A.M. Johnson, her alter ego Lillian writes some steamy words.

The setting is NYC, Giovanna Selene Cavalier is an up and coming Cellist with aspirations of leaving New York and working out in California for a prestigious school.  In the meantime, she supports herself working part time playing her music which leads her to an opening of a Monterosso Winery.  As she is playing, she notices a tall, dark and handsome man who is intently listening to her music.  She felt the stranger’s pull while she played her music.  Cue in Bennett Monterosso.  He exudes power and money and he’s very taken with the sexy Cellist. His thoughts are all-consuming in all the ways he can have her.  Until someone from his past call his attention, Gage Calibri, I will get back to this in a moment.  Instant chemistry between Bennett and Selene, yet she also noticed Gage from afar, although she is attracted to him as well, it is a little more fearful, but not in a scary way.

#Team Bennett or #Team Gage

Is this a love triangle you may be asking?  No.  Bennett and Gage grew up together and shared many interests including women.  Let’s just say, our sweet and quiet Selene (Gio) reaps the reward with these two alpha men.  Oh but who has Selene’s heart the most, you may also be wondering?  No, cannot tell you this, you have to read and go through the same emotions I had reading this book.  I knew whose team I was rooting for, and I uncovered a lot of the plot for myself during my read, which is not a bad thing.

So having this as my first Lillian Bryant book, I was not disappointed.  The writing was really good and tastefully done.  The sexy times, also well done.  You get the right amount of angst, not so much where you’re pulling your hair out.  I cannot wait to see what other goodies Ms. Bryant has in store in her other books.  This is definitely a one-click for those who like reading ménage.
