The third and final installment in the Unyielding series from the New York Times Best Selling Author Nashoda Rose.

This is Connor’s story.

Consumed by perfect rage.
I was fighting who I’d become and what I’d done.

There was nothing I cared about except her.
She was fuckin’ mine.
But I’d forgotten her—my shutterbug.
And I lost her.

Until now.

I’d do anything to possess her again.
Anything to keep her safe.
Protect her against my biggest opponent.

The monster.

Must be read in order:

Perfect Chaos (Unyielding, #1)
Perfect Ruin (Unyielding, #2)
Perfect Rage (Unyielding, #3)

To say that I’ve been patiently waiting for Connor’s story, is putting it mildly.  Nashoda Rose gutted me with this book!  Before I continue, can you read this as a standalone?  I want to say yes, but truthfully you should really start with Torn From You, With You, Overwhelmed by You, Shattered by You, Perfect Chaos and Perfect Ruin.  In these books you get glimpses of Connor O’Neil and how or why he was so damaged.  And even as you’re reading this review, there may be some spoilers from the previous books, so I would recommend you reading the books I mention above.

For those of you who’ve read all the books I mentioned above, you were all probably wondering about Connor and his story.  Yeah, I reached for tissues many times during my read.  Let’s start with Alina Diaz.  He met her in Afghanistan many moons ago.  He was her escort through war torn Afghanistan, she was a photographer.  If you read Perfect Ruin, that ending was Woah!  I wanted to know more about Alina.  I liked her from the very beginning.  Her home life story was pretty sad as well, and I can understand why she was in Afghanistan, but she was called back home to Columbia because of that dirtbag Carlos.  Yeah, you know who I’m talking about, but not before she and Connor fall in love and it tears her apart to leave him.

God Connor coming back to Alina, so many emotions I felt.  He’s remembering the stuff that happened with Vault, as much as he wants to stay away from Alina, he cannot.  Alina never stopped loving Connor, she wants him back in her life, but Connor is fighting it with the running away.

I knew Nashoda Rose would not disappoint me with Connor’s book.  I truly was gutted reading.  I had to put my reading device down so many times because of the tears and emotions that was coursing through me.  His reunion with his sister, Georgie, priceless.

Overall, I really loved this book and the emotions I felt throughout my read.  I am curious to see where Ms. Rose will take me next, and will it be with Vic?
