Synopsis

A missing legacy, a stolen son, and one dangerous secret changed everything for them…

SHE STOLE MY PROPERTY

I’ll never forget the night I caught her sneaking around my place. She thought she could steal from me and get away with it, but I have no intention of letting her get away at all. Mian Ross has a lesson to learn, and I’m going to be the one to teach it to her.

HE STOLE MY SON

I’ll never forget the night I made the second biggest mistake of my life. It was supposed to be a simple job, but it quickly became so much more–one that cost my freedom and cost my son. Angel Knight became my worst nightmare… and now, he’ll never let us go.

Grace Review

A forbidden love.
A family legacy.
Revenge.
And a baby.
It’s an odd combination, but it adds up to one hell of a turbulent ride.

This was my first read from the author. All I knew going in was that there would be a dark element, and an asshole for the H. And that’s definitely what is delivered.
If you like your H rude and crude, Angel will satisfy your cravings. He is a HUGE dickhead for most of the book, whether in the past or present. He has lusted over Mian for years, but kept his distance due to the age difference. What I didn’t get was how often he was a jerk to her, almost as if it was her fault that he was so attracted to her. In the present, when the age difference is no longer an issue, he seems to get worse.

“What’s the matter, Angel? Are you so eager to kill me or afraid you might have to?”

Don’t worry, I won’t spoil it for you. But I kept shaking my head at the awful things he did to Sian.
Heartless.
Harsh.
Unforgivable.
I would have kicked him in the groin repeatedly. But the h is not me. Instead, no matter how badly he treats her, she can’t seem to fight her attraction to him.

“And I’ll haunt you from the moment I take my last breath to the moment you take yours.”

Lucas and Z, Angel’s brothers in friendship, were an interesting twist to the story. I was surprised how much Angel let them play with Mian. While hot, it also made me uncomfortable, especially given what happened to Mian at a young age. I felt for her in that everyone just took what they wanted and she rarely had a choice.

“We’re finally combusting.”

The Knight legacy made for an interesting backstory, and I struggled to figure out who had THE BOOK. When it was revealed, it all made perfect sense. I liked a lot of twists near the end, certainly added some interesting drama. However, that last twist . . . . WHAT THE FUCK?!!! Just no. I’m happy Mian did what she did. Long overdue, imo. But where does that lead us for book two? We’ll have to wait (not long) and see . . .

If you are looking for a darkish book with an asshole Alpha, or like anti-heros with some sexy times, this one is worth checking out.

Author Bio

B.B., ALSO KNOWN as Bebe, found her passion for romance when she read her first romance novel by Susan Johnson at a young age. She would sneak into her mother’s closet for books and even sometimes the attic. It soon became a hobby, and later an addiction, influencing her life in a positive way.

Bebe is fresh out of undergrad college and has always wondered about the existence of her talent. When she finally decided to pick up a metaphorical pen and start writing, she found a new way to embrace her passion.

She favors a romance that isn’t always easy on the eyes or heart, and loves to see characters grow–characters who are seemingly doomed from the start but find love anyway.

Fear Me, her debut novel, is the first of many.
